This exact situation happened to a former research group of mine, and I was unfortunately a co-author on the manuscript. I was curious whether to include it on my CV or not-- thanks for the suggestion! Should any other types of publications go under the "other publications" heading? I'm just curious how the "other publications" would be viewed if it is only one (or more) journal articles that seem to be formatted similarly to legit publications. A former colleague put non-peer reviewed abstracts under the heading "Non-Refereed Publications", and I was curious if that could be an acceptable heading for a publication in a dubious journal. Thank you so much for your advice on this important topic!
